Amazon has unveiled its updated lineup of Echo and Alexa+ devices with three new products set to arrive Downunder.
Echo Dot
Amazon’s best-selling, affordable Echo Dot has been updated with a built-in smart home hub that supports Zigbee, Matter, and Thread. It also includes a built-in eero Wi-Fi extender to improve wireless coverage throughout your home.
With Amazon’s AZ3 custom silicon, conversations with Alexa+ are now faster and feel more natural. The new fourth microphone helps the device locate you in the room, while a new driver delivers 50% more bass than previously.
It is available now for RRP AU$199 at amazon.com.au/echodot.

Echo Studio with Home Camera
Echo Studio, with its three custom drivers and high-excursion woofer, is Amazon’s best-sounding speaker and now has visual intelligence with a built-in 13MP camera. It can now see and contextually understand what is in front of it to provide relevant intelligence.
You can also use the camera as a security camera to check in on the room at any time. You can disable the camera and microphones for privacy with a button, and an LED light lights up when the camera is on.
The Echo Studio with Home Camera is available now for RRP AU$479 at amazon.com.au/echostudiowithcamera.

Echo Time
Designed for the bedside table, the Echo Time is a smart alarm clock with a customisable circular touchscreen. It displays your next alarm, what’s playing, and the weather, and you can customise it with hundreds of available clock faces.
With the help of Alexa+ it detects lighter sleep and wakes you at a better time in your sleep cycle, with the clock face gradually brightening and the alarm tone building gently to ease you awake. At night, it reduces blue light and dims so it won’t keep you awake.
The Echo Time is available now for RRP AU$379 amazon.com.au/echotime.
