When it comes to tech and advice, there isn’t much Trev can’t help with. Cooking, however, is a slightly different story. His culinary skills are pretty much limited to the BBQ!
So, in a move that would make traditional gender roles very proud, Trev brought home the Ninja Stealth IQ for me to test while he took on the extremely demanding job of eating everything I made. Here are my very un-techy thoughts on the Ninja Stealth IQ
What they say about the Ninja Stealth IQ
Ninja Stealth IQ Kitchen System Power Blender + Processor Pro, is the next-generation innovation designed to deliver professional-grade performance without the noise.
Built for modern living, the Stealth IQ redefines what a blender can be, combining new BlendSense Technology with built-in noise-dampening materials to create ultra-smooth results without disturbing the peace.
With multiple attachments and one-touch smart programming, the Ninja Stealth IQ Kitchen System is the ultimate kitchen multitasker, transforming from blender to food processor in seconds.

What did I love about it?
Just like they say, this is the ultimate kitchen multitasker. Food processor, blender and smoothie attachments. Within each of these you can slice, grate, puree, kneed….and I have to say I tried them all and it worked extremely well. A huge plus was the small base which could easily sit on a bench without taking much space, because honestly no one needs massive appliances cluttering up your space. You can see it here next to one of my delicious smoothies!

Like most gadgets, it took a bit of getting used to, but what struck me first off is that it had some great power, versatility and was easy to use. The kids and I were making smoothies every day and it comes with screw on lids to take your smoothie with you.

And like I said, because the base is so small you can interchange the attachments as you need and leave it on the bench for easy every day use.
I made a bunch of stuff including mixing cookies with the dough attachment. I was very skeptical it would actually be able to kneed dough, but my gluten free cookies were delicious and worked out perfectly. Huge win because they were gluten free too.

When it comes to a food processors my first though was fresh pesto. So I tried a batch and not only could you process it up, but it grated the parmesan cheese first. So this made it super easy and I had forgotten how much better fresh pesto tastes.

One of Trev’s favourites is potato bake but who can be bothered to slice up potatoes so I have never done it. It was super easy with the slicer/grater attachment. I sliced up the potatoes, grated the cheese and Trev really enjoyed the potato bake.
I also tried to blend up a tomato pasta sauce which I had seen on Tik Tok, to put with mince for spaghetti bolognaise. The idea was to throw a whole bunch of vegetables in some tomato passata to hide them from the kids (or in my case Trev!). I threw it all in the blender attachment and it worked super well and not one complaint so that’s a win in my books.
And finally, if you have an Acai bowl addict like we have in the house, you must try and they can look so pretty check out what Victoria and I created.

I also liked the Blendsense button to just push and let the machine do all the thinking for you. Cooking is a science, and I wasn’t very good at science. Ask the kids and they will tell you I regularly burn stuff, or put meat in the slow cooker and forget to turn it on. So to be able to push a button and it work out how long and how powerful it needs to work, suits me perfectly. And again, I was skeptical, but it got it right and the smoothies worked out perfectly.
I’m pretty neutral when it comes to the noise dampening. I didn’t find the machine particularly loud, but I wouldn’t describe it as super quiet either. The noise dampener attachment only works with the smoothie attachment, and while it definitely reduces the noise, blending is still a noisy business, especially when frozen ingredients are involved!
Overall, I wouldn’t say the noise level was a standout feature, either good or bad.
What I didn’t like…
The blades are SHARP and when I was first usng it, I managed to cut like most of my finger. I will note I am a bit clumsy so this is not unusual. Once I realised, I was able to avoid being cut so much. However, if you have kids or teenagers who like to cook it is something to consider.
Also it was originally super hard to clean. Everytime I washed it up there were pieces of food left on it and getting into the little spaces was not easy. So I went and bought some brushes, and that really made a difference. I have included the ones I bought below. It is not a reason to not buy it, just found it much easier to clean with brushes that could be squished into the small spaces.

I also don’t think it came with a huge amount of recipes and there is not much on the website. I know for those who love to be in the kitchen and experiment they may be happy but I like to follow recipes and so didn’t know where to start.
The only other consideration is the cost. At over $300 it is more expensive than a regular food processor or blender. However, given the fact you get everything in one appliance, it is certainly worth it in my mind. And if you could use it to get rid of additional appliances to simplify your life, that is also a plus.
Like I said, we were encouraged to make more healthy smoothies because it was out on the bench, and easy to use. It is also perfect for anyone with a new home who needs everything!

So all in all, this is a huge tick for me. Now excuse me I need to go, Trev is requesting potato bake again!
Trev’s wife. Loves pretty things but hates gadgets (it’s a match made in heaven). Mum to three kids who break her pretty things but she loves them anyway.
