The world of music is ever-changing, with artists releasing albums online only, teasing tracks via social media along with many more marketing tricks in this digital age. Ozzy Osborne and Black Sabbath haven’t released a studio album in over 30 years so you’d expect these old-timers to hold a record launch at the local music store – no way – not this time – far from it. Due for release later this month “13” brings together Ozzy Osborne, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler for something fans have literally been waiting decades for.

Pre-orders for the album are available online and at iTunes right now, and as always with iTunes you can click that little “play” button and sample some of the song – but as an exclusive on iTunes you can also stream the entire 53 minutes and 34 seconds right to your computer.
It’s a simple idea that should generate some cracking previews and pre-sales for the band.
Don’t get over excited, it is literally a start to finish stream – you can’t skip tracks or choose tracks – but for fans I’m not sure that’s going to be an issue.
