I must admit, I thought Husqvarna made powered garden gear – mowers, trimmers, ride-ons, chain saws, that kinda thing. Something that has something other than manual human power. Turns out – they have a range of Axes which seem to have all the technology of design and construction all just to cut some wood.
The concept of an axe has been around for ages – literally. The most common use is chopping firewood, or fell a tree. The newly developed Husqvarna Axe range is made to get that job done and done well.
There are three different product categories in the Husqvarna range. Universal axes have a balance point close to the axe head to give perfect balance and weight distribution.
Universal Hatchet is designed for outdoor garden work suitable for one-handed use with a head weight of just 700grams measuring 34cm in length.
And finally the Splitting axe – made primarily to split your wood – they have an innovative hollow grinding they are made for efficient firewood splitting. Who knew axes could be so complex?
