Samsung have unveiled their latest FE (Fan Edition) branded device, with the Galaxy Watch FE now official and going on-sale next month in Australia. 

The Galaxy Watch FE features a 40mm case in Black and Gold colourways, with a new range of bands on offer. The case is tough enough for everyday use with IP68 dust/water resistance and can stand up to 5ATM of pressure underwater, as well as carrying MIL-STD-810G certification. 

As an FE model, the watch has a cut-down spec list from the latest Galaxy Watch 6 series, but still includes a 1.2-inch AMOLED display covered with a sapphire crystal glass . It’s powered by an Exynos W920 chipset with 1.5GB RAM and 16GB of storage, and includes a 247mAh Battery promising long battery life and charges wirelessly.

The watch runs Wear OS with One UI 5 and Samsung health functions built-in ready to connect with the bevvy of health related sensors on-board. Sensors include a Heart Rate monitor with support for ECG and Irregular Heart Rhythm Notification (IHRN) tracking, as well as a BioActive sensor for sleep tracking. 

The watch also includes support for tracking more than 100 different workouts, as well as expert running tips and offers a personlised heart rate zone to help you achieve your fitness goals.

Samsung Australia have announced pricing the Galaxy Watch FE will be priced at $399, and will arrive down under on July 1st.
