With just over two weeks until the Opening Ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Vodafone has announced a deal for those who are making the trip instead of watching at home.
The telco is offering postpaid customers three days of FREE international roaming in France in line with the Opening of the games.
If you’re a Vodafone postpaid customer, and you’re in France on the 26th, 27th and or 28th of July, you’ll get your “$5 a day Roaming” for free on each of those days.
It’s really rather simple. Do nothing different, use your phone as normal – enjoy.
Now for context, based on 2023 data, the average daily download for roaming customers is 671MB, with the average time spent in France at 5 days. Just three days use if you’re paying per MB could be over $6,000.
This is an important reminder to get yourself sorted before you go!
Vodafone’s research suggests holiday makers spend 120 minutes a day on social media sharing their holiday snaps and videos – that all costs money.
And if you’re on TikTok those numbers will be higher I reckon.
