Samsung has today announced their new fitness tracker, the Galaxy Fit3, complete with an aluminium body and bigger display available now for AU$149.

The display on the new Galaxy Fit3 is 45 percent wider than its predecessor making it easier for users to check their tracked details with a quick glance. The wider body also allows for a larger battery and thus longer battery life, lasting up to 13 days of use.

Kylie Mason, Head of Wearables, Mobile eXperience at Samsung Australia said “At Samsung, we’re committed to providing Australians with advanced health monitoring tools and accessible resources to help them along their wellness journey. We’ve seen Australians’ growing interest in gaining a comprehensive understanding of their health and wellbeing, and with our newest dedicated fitness tracker, the Galaxy Fit3, we mark another step towards providing a smarter and more enhanced connected snapshot.”

The Galaxy Fit3 includes over 100 watch faces or you can set your own photo as a background. You can also style it to your own fit with interchangeable bands.

The new fitness tracker can track over 100 types of workouts anytime, anywhere thanks to its 5ATM and IP68 ratings for dust and water resistance. It can deliver you a large range of health metrics including heart rate and stress levels. It will also track sleep patterns, detecting snoring while monitoring blood oxygen to provide sleep coaching and insights into your sleep patterns.

The Galaxy Fit3 also includes Fall Detection and Emergency SOS, a nice addition to a fitness tracker.

The Galaxy Fit3 is available in Australia from today, and is available in two colour options, Grey and Pink Gold, for AU$149 from Samsung.com/au and select retail partners.
