Arlo has added a brand new feature to their Arlo Secure plans with your cloud stored videos now getting an event caption to describe in quite literal terms what is in the video.
Along with this, a new video search function will allow you to use very clear and normal language keywords to search through your captured videos.
These features expand on the now basic seeming concepts of Person, Vehicle and Custom detection which allow for more granular details on event recordings, but to now get a quick written snapshot shows the power of AI to “see” what’s in your video.
The search functionality, yet to roll out, is where this becomes a gamechanger, in addition if we’re able to then slowly adjust our notifications to make them more meaningful you can really imagine where this goes.
Event Captions is a feature for new users, and existing subscribers who signed up to Secure plans after September 2024.
To enable, head to your profile, your location and under Arlo Intelligence enable the Event Captions
