Beats has today introduced the Powerbeats Fit, the next generation of the Beats Fit Pro earbuds, designed for greater durability, improved comfort and an IPX4 rating for the heaviest of workouts.
The new Powerbeats Fit features new wingtips for a more secure fit, which tuck into the ear for not only stability but also improved comfort. The earbuds arrive with four ear tip sizes to accommodate different ear shapes and sizes.
The new design incorporates an IPX4 rating, allowing them to be worn in virtually any workout, rain, hail, or shine (or snow). Also included are on-device controls that allow the user to manage playback, adjust volume, change listening modes, answer calls, and activate their digital assistant.
The new Beats earbuds deliver a powerful, balanced sound across the entire audio spectrum, appealing to the most discerning listeners. With support for Personalised Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking, the earbuds are also ideal for an immersive experience when watching movies or gaming.
Users can tailor the earbuds to their own ears with Adaptive EQ, while the ANC blocks external noise. However, there is also a Transparency mode to keep the user aware of their environment, should that be preferred.
The Powerbeats Fit will work seamlessly with both iOS and Android users, offering a comprehensive feature set out of the box for iOS users, including Automatic Switching between devices, Audio Sharing, hands-free Hey Siri, Find My, and more. Android users will see support for one-touch pairing, customisable controls, battery status, Locate My Beats and a Fit Test.

Each earbud is equipped with a battery that provides up to seven hours of playback, with an additional 23 hours of charge in the 17% smaller charging case. A quick 5-minute charge will provide the user with an additional hour of playback.
Powerbeats Fit is available to order starting today in Jet Black, Gravel Gray, Spark Orange, and Power Pink for $329.95 (AUD) from apple.com, with on-shelf beginning October 3rd.
