DJI is set to launch its new 360-degree drone, the DJI Avata 360, this Thursday, and it is set to be a great drone for all, from beginners to experts.  How do I know that?  I’ve been using it for a week.

While I cannot tell you any of the drone’s features or specs, I can give you a quick description and share some clips I have shot with it so far.  At this stage, I am keeping them very basic. As I learn to fly the drone better and get the best shots, I will record more footage for the full review coming in the next week or so.

The drone is a great-looking drone – it looks a lot like the DJI Avata 2, funnily enough.  It is a super-premium build with the prop guards giving it a feel that it could handle anything I throw at it.  I’ll let you be the judge of how you think it looks based on the pics below:

I am a total noob when it comes to drones so you will have to excuse the first video or two for my not-so-smooth flying.  The video below was literally the very second video I recorded on the drone.

I then tested it out at dusk, where the light levels were very low.  You can see a few of the “shot on” videos below:

For more information, you’ll have to check back in on Thursday, 11pm (AEDT) for when the full details, features and specs announcement goes live.
