Just picking up a Little Golden Book can bring about a wave of nostalgia for many people, so seeing one of EFTM’s favourite artists getting their own is a big deal – and you can now pre-order the John Farnham Little Golden Book right now.
Priced at a bargain $5.99 RRP, the John Farnham Little Golden Book will be published in Australia by Penguin, going on-sale August 4th as a hardcover, from a variety of retailers.
The book will be a kid-friendly auto-biographical look at one of Australia’s most popular singers, a simpler tome than the official John Farnham Auto-biography that was released late last year. The blurb reads:
Read the inspiring story about the life of Australia’s singing sensation, John Farnham – from growing up in England to becoming a teen pop idol in Australia, and how his decision to record one song would end up changing his life, and the face of Australian music, forever.
It’s the second Little Golden Book released earlier this year featuring an iconic Australian, with The Crocodile Hunter – Steve Irwin getting a book published in February.
It’s hard to say how many times we’ve collectively seen John Farnham in concert, but with Trevor leading the charge, having attended over 20 concerts, there’s definitely a clear winner. We’ve pre-ordered ours and can’t wait to read this to the kids (or future grandkids…eventually).
