Epson has unveiled its new flagship ultra-short throw (UST) EH‑LS970B projector, delivering 4K resolution with brighter colours and improved performance, alongside AI-powered image optimisation and Bose audio.
The Epson EH‑LS970B projector sits just 28cm from the wall while projecting an image up to 150 inches. It incorporates pixel-shifting technology and three individual high-definition LCD chips to deliver a sharp 4K image with higher brightness than previously projected.
The light output is up to 4,000 lumens, allowing the image to be viewed in all lighting conditions, while the 5,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio delivers rich, detailed, clear imagery at all times. With a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz using the HDMI port and a lag time of less than 20 ms, the projector allows gamers to experience games on the massive 150-inch display.
The advanced AI image processing intelligently sharpens the image while also decontouring it to smooth out banding and artifacts, producing movies that are true to life.
Setting up the Epson EH-LS970B is simple with the Epson Setting Assistant app: use the phone’s camera to automatically correct for projection distortion, and the app to adjust the display size.
The audio has been tweaked by Bose with the custom-designed stereo system delivering a rich, balanced sound for all movies.

The Epson EH‑LS970B is now available in Australia and New Zealand, priced at AU$6,399 and NZ$7,499, respectively.
