The annual Big W Toy Sale kicks off this week and Australian consumer electronics company LASER are bringing new kid-friendly tech gadgets with big discounts.
The new range includes a new smart watch, all-day health and activity tracker, mini digital keychain camera and more going on-sale during the Big W Toy Sale which kicks off on June 9th.
The Big W Top Sale will also see their Smart HD Projector which includes 50 retro games built-in, as well as controllers going on-sale for just $79.

The new devices include the Laser Kids Smart Watch, a fantastic device which also support Apple’s FindMy network, giving parents a reliable, budget-friendly way to stay connected without needing to buy kids a smartphone.
Available in Pink or Black colourways, the kid-friendly smart watch is designed to be used by your kids whether they’re on the go or around the home. The watch includes a large 1.8-inch touch display with sensors that can track a range of health functions including steps, calories, and daily activity.

The watch will also keep your kid entertained, with a heap of preloaded, games built-in and ready to play, with a long life battery inside which LASER says will last up to 5 to 7 days on a single charge.
For a little more health focus though, the new Laser V-Fitness All Day Health and Activity Band will track everything from heart rate and daily steps to your sleep.
Reminiscent of the new Google Fitbit Air or Whoop Band, the display-less and subscription free fitness tracker can keep up with you for up to 21 days on a single charge.
The band is IP68 compatible so you can exercise without worry, – even letting you swim if you want.
LASER says the band integrates into Apple Health, syncing seamlessly – as well as through the free Tom Fit Pro app which is available through Google Play for Android users.

The band comes in Black, Pink or Silver colour options, with aven includes a bonus nylon strap so you can keep one for exercise and one for day-to-day use.
Potential shutterbugs will enjoy the new stand-alone Laser Mini Digital Camera Keychain.

The retro inspired standalone camera is available in a range of colours, capturing images at 1280 x 960 (around 1.2-1.3MP) on a microSD card (which isn’t included).

The compact camera will clip on your keyring or bag with the integrated keychain loop, and lets you see the results on the built-in 0.96” colour LCD display.
For kids who want a less compact camera option, as well as the ability to play MP3s on the go, the new Laser Kids Play Phone with Camera and MP3 Player will hit the spot.
This neat device will let kids explore photography, video, and creative play with a front and rear camera letting them take snaps or videos wherever they want, with a 2.4” colour display able to show their results.

As well as capturing photos and videos, the four hour runtime will let them play back MP3s, or the preloaded games or interactive learning features.
One I might even consider for myself for the next party is the new LASER Mini RGB Karaoke Speaker with 2 Wireless Mics.
Priced at $15, this is a steal giving you dual wireless mics and a boombox, turning any room into a stage in seconds.

Available in Blue or Pink, the bundle is designed to work effortlessly right out of the box. You can stream your favourite tracks to the speaker through Bluetooth, plug in directly with AUX input or just add your tracks to a Micro SD card for total flexibility.

The compact speaker includes RGB lighting built-in, adding a vibrant, party-ready glow to any event. It also includes a rechargeable battery lasting up to two hours, making it portable and ready to go anywhere.
LASER is also launching new headphones for kids with wired and wireless options available.
On the wired front, the Laser Kids Wired Headphones with Customisable Charms offers kids a great quality pair of headphones they can customise and completely make their own.
Using a standard 3.5mm audio jack, the headphones are plug and play and come in a choice of blue or pink colour options.

For a wireless option, the Kids Bow Design Wireless Headphones offer audio capped at 85dB to protect developing ears. Connecting via bluetooth, the headphones offer up to 11.5 hours of playback, with USB-C charging getting them back to full in a few hours.
Keeping in the groove, the new CD Bluetooth Boombox will give your kids a chance to disconnect from streaming services and play through a full disc of hits, or just tune into the FM radio stations.

The unit includes simple top mounted controls with an LCD display and a built-in equaliser lets you tune your sound between Classical, Rock, Pop, Jazz, or Flat settings.
The Boombox can be plugged into a wall to liven up your bedroom or office, or can head out on the go if you have four C-Cell batteries on hand.
Lastly, LASER have introduced the Jelly Fish Night Light Speaker, a bluetooth speaker that can stream a playlist, or immersive sounds to fall asleep to, with a ‘jellyfish-inspired motion design where the jellyfish gently moves up and down while its tentacles sway in time with the rhythm of the music’.

Priced at $29.95 for the sale, the speaker can last up to three hours on a single charge, and includes seven colour options, and four lighting modes to customise your night.
You can check out all these deals when they go live on Tuesday the 9th of June, or get a sneak peek at the Big W Toy Sale catalogue now over on their website.
