While we mostly know ASUS from their massively popular range of consumer, creator and budget friendly devices, the company also has a focus on Enterprise. Today ASUS have unveiled their latest Enterprise focused laptop, the ExpertBook Ultra, bringing light-weight design, performance and longevity to the corporate world.
Starting at $3,399, the ExpertBook Ultra is an ultra-portable for the corporate world, taking design cues from aircraft design and bringing ASUS’ wealth of knowledge and experience to enterprise customers.
The company has set their sights on achieving dominance in Enterprise, targeting the number 1 position with the launch of the ExpertBook Ultra. During the keynote in Singapore Co-CEO of ASUS, S.Y. Hsu said
“The ExpertBook Ultra is the absolute pinnacle of ASUS engineering and our definitive answer to the future of work. We engineered this device with zero compromises. We understand that tomorrow’s business leaders require an AI-powered machine that thinks and operates as fast as they do, wrapped in a design that exudes elegance. This is the undisputed flagship of the industry.”
Powered by the latest Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors with up to 50W of performance, it’s paired with an integrated Intel Arc B390 GPU offering performance that can best an NVIDIA RTX 4050. It also includes a Gen 5 SSD offering almost double the read speed of even gen 4 SSDs.
The laptop is crafted from aerospace-grade magnesium alloy, with precision CNC machining to achieve a sub-1Kg laptop that’s a mere 10.9mm thin. It will be available in two colour options: Morn Grey and Jet Fog.
The laptop has been through Mil-Spec certification, passing 24 procedures for fall, shock, temperature and more, as well as a further 157 ASUS Durability tests. It’s covered by a Nano Ceramic coating, which has a hardness rating up to 9H – leaving it scratch and wear free.
The laptop includes a 14” 3K resolution ASUS Tandem OLED touch display with Corning Gorilla Glass adding further protection. The display includes 120Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling, and Gorilla Glass Matte to reduce glare and reflections.
Powered by a 70Wh battery offering up to 26 hours of battery life, the 90W USB-C charger can give the battery up to 30% charge in just 5 minutes.
The keyboard and haptic trackpad offer convenient, and comfortable input with the trackpad using a 6-motor response system that’s designed to be smoother and more precise.
The laptop includes a host of security measures designed to please any IT Department, with NIST SP 800-193 BIOS resilience which includes a self-healing Dual BIOS ROM backup. The on-board IR webcam includes a physical shutter for privacy, and you get dual touchless login with Windows Hello compatible login thanks to the webcam and fingerprint sensor enabled power button.
