JBL has announced JBL Cove, a new Wi-Fi audio range for your home, designed to make multi-room audio as seamless as possible. The system features three new wireless speakers that can operate independently, pair for stereo sound, or work together as part of a connected home audio system.
Using JBL’s signature sound and Dolby Atmos on supporting models, JBL Cove delivers flexible room-by-room audio to your connected JBL speakers. The three new JBL Cove speakers are:
- JBL Cove M1 – a compact speaker for flexible positioning
- JBL Cove P1 – battery-powered and portable with Dolby Atmos sound
- JBL Cove X1 – The flagship speaker with four tweeters, dual woofers and Dolby Atmos support.
JBL Cove uses JBL’s proprietary Constant Sound Field, automatic self-tuning and AI Sound Boost technology to optimise the audio to wherever you are in your home and how you prefer your music to sound.

Using the JBL One app, setup is super simple, with the app intelligently deciding whether you want to play in one room or in a group of speakers throughout your house.
The speakers also fit seamlessly with the JBL Bar Series MK2 soundbars, letting you use the new JBL Cove speakers as part of your home theatre system for an immersive Dolby Atmos setup, in the one connected app.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi to Bluetooth, AirPlay 2, Google Cast™, Roon Ready, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, and Qobuz Connect, with a Spotify Tap button allowing for easy access to your Spotify playlists.
