New kid on the block Mova have announced that their range of robotic appliances for your home and garden are now available at major retailers across the country.

Last month Mova gave us a glimpse of what was to come, from cleaners for your floors, your windows, your pool and even two models of robot lawn mowers. The age of relaxing on a weekend as robots do your chores has arrived.

Windows

Starting with that awful job of cleaning your windows, the slimline N1 and portable T1 robotic window cleaner models make that tedious job easy. Designed to clean both inside and outside panes and do so far more effectively than you can do them yourselves, your only choice is which one to buy.

The N1 features a dual-wing mist-cleaning system which delivers a high-pressure, micron-level spray paired with a high-retention microfibre cloth for streak-free, real-time wiping. We got our hands on the N1 and you can read our review here and it is available at Harvey NormanJB Hi-FiAmazon AU, and au.mova.tech

The N1 robotic window cleaner

It’s big brother the T1 available through Harvey Norman, and au.mova.tech takes the next logical step and eliminates the need to plug the robot into mains power. Instead it gives you more flexibility by coming with a Multi-Functional “BoostBay” Base which is essentially a large battery that is moved from window to window with you with no trailing power cords. It also features more advanced functionality to get right into corners and uses heated water (40°C) to help shift that dirt.

The Pool

Next up is the DIVER A10 Robotic Pool Cleaner, also available through Harvey Norman, Amazon AU and au.mova.tech. The Diver A10 really made short work of cleaning my pool and you can read the full review here

The Diver A10 Pool Cleaner

And again this smart robot has a bigger sibling, the Rover X10 and this monster just may have achieved the holy grail of pool cleaners. Those without a robot pool cleaner may be surprised to learn that they differ enormously from robot vacuums in that signals can’t penetrate water so real-time monitoring and true “mapping” of your pool is not possible. Potentially until now. The Rover X10 is a cleaner I really need to test out and it shows just how rapid the advance in household robotics has become. The Rover X10 is available at Harvey Norman

The Lawn

When it comes to the garden, many people enjoy mowing the lawn. I am not one of them so the thought of watching a mower do that task for you is appealing.

Again Mova have two options

  • The Mova ViAX 300 is available at Harvey NormanJB Hi-Fi and au.mova.tech  It will do fully autonomous mowing using an AI vision system capable of covering up to 300m², climbing over 20° slopes and 4cm obstacles at a quiet <57dB.
  • The LIDAX Ultra 1200: This one has LIDAR as well as vision to really create accurate 3D maps, self-mapping, and great mowing, the autonomous backyard robot. Available at Harvey Norman and pre-order at au.mova.tech this all-wheel-drive mower is capable of cutting on slopes of up to 38° and it can even cut your edges.
