A key feature of Googlebooks will be the Glowbar, a line of RGB LEDs that light up to show off things like battery, as well as show when Gemini is working as well as fun animations.

Benny Zhang, Executive Director and General Manager of Chromebooks in Lenovo’s Intelligent Devices Group said

“The Lenovo Googlebook 15 represents the next step in Lenovo’s collaboration with Google and our commitment to making powerful intelligent experiences accessible to more people, By combining Google’s intelligence capabilities with Lenovo’s expertise in bringing devices to life through thoughtful design and engineering, we are expanding our portfolio with a new option designed for today’s connected lifestyles.”

The Googlebook experience features Gemini Intelligence built-in, offering features like Magic Pointer which lets you ‘wiggle’ your mouse pointer to summon Gemini. Lenovo has launched their own ‘Magic Pointer’ compatible mouse, with the Lenovo AI Mouse making “everyday AI interactions faster and more intuitive. Users can instantly access Gemini with a click, launch contextual actions with Magic Pointer, and personalise controls to fit the way they work’.

Also included is Rambler, Google’s latest evolution of voice-2-text, which works almost like magic to remove the ‘ums’ and ‘ahs’ from your dictation for a clean translation every time.

For Android phone users there’s also Continue On, which lets you continue what you were doing on your phone – but on a larger display with full Chrome browser, mouse and keyboard. This feature also gives you access to all the apps, and files on your phone – as well as cool features like QuickShare – which includes AirDrop compatibility to Macs and iOS devices.

All Googlebooks come with 12 months of Google AI Pro, including 5TB of cloud storage, Gemini Pro, Nano Banana, Gemini in Google Drive and Gmail, and more.

The Googlebook 15 is heading to stores from October 4th (likely 5th here in Australia) with prices starting at $2,299.
