The new series of Googlebooks announced earlier this month includes a range of devices from Dell, ASUS, Lenovo and HP, with ACER notably silent on an Australian release. That’s now changed with ACER’s Googlebook set to land in Australia next month.
Priced at $2,699 ($2,599 for a limited time), the ACER Googlebook 14 comes with a 14-inch 3K OLED touch display in a functional lightweight ultra-durable aluminum-magnesium blend convertible chassis with a 360-degree hinge that weighs in at just 1.14kg.
The laptop is powered by the latest Intel Core Ultra processors, including built-in AI engines powered by a Neural Processing Unit capable of up to 50 Trillion Operations Per Second (TOPS), and powers features including Gemini and the systems Magic Pointer mouse cursor.
Configured with up to 16 GB DDR5 system memory with up to 512 GB PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSD storage, the ACER Googlebook 14 includes a backlit keyboard and Corning Gorilla Glass covered glass touchpad for smoother navigation.
The laptop includes both WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 6 for local wireless connectivity, with Thunderbolt 4 Type-C, as well as dual USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports on either side of the laptop for flexible connectivity and charging, and a 5 MP web cam built-in.

The Googlebook series is engineered to work with your Android phone, bringing a new layer of interactivity between devices, as well as including access to Gemini.
The Googlebook includes features like Continue On – letting you instantly resume what you were doing on your phone, but on a larger display with mouse and keyboard, as well as Rambler which is Google’s AI-powered voice-to-text method which removes all the ‘ums’, ‘ahs’ and more from your speech to get to the root of what you intend to say.
You’ll be able to access all your apps and files from your phone on the Googlebook 14, giving you a step up in productivity, without having to install them.
To access all the AI powered features, the Acer Googlebook 14 comes with 12 months of Google AI Pro – normally priced at $32.99 per month.
This plan gives Googlebook users expanded access to Gemini including Flow, and Gemini Notebook, as well as Gemini access in your Google apps. It also comes with 5 TB of cloud storage to keep photos and files backed up.
