Logitech has announced a new limited edition version of the best-selling MX Master 4, the Developer Edition, launching at GitHub Universe in San Francisco.
The new edition honours the software developers of tomorrow with the limited edition MX Master 4 Developer Edition, featuring custom developer-themed styling, including:
- The Syntax Aesthetic: syntax annotations (//), markup tags (</>), circuit traces, and a compiling {Hello, World} execution prompt are laser-etched onto the MX Master 4 matte surface.
- The mouse design also incorporates subtle developer logic and other tributes, including 0xFF + 1 (World Programmers’ Day), 09.17 (Linux Kernel release date), and !04.01 (World Backup Day).

The mouse includes all the usual MX Master 4 features, including customisable haptic feedback, instant tool and AI shortcuts, soft-click buttons (my favourite) and a scroll wheel that can scroll up to 1,000 lines per second. It is effectively the same mouse but with a much better looking shell.
Attendees at GitHub Universe in San Francisco from October 28-29 can stop by the Logitech booth to be among the first to buy the MX Master 4 Developer Edition. It is available now on Logitech.com and at select global retailers for AU$199.95. Get it fast before it runs out.
