One of the first things any new iPad user does is experiment with the tablet as a recipe book in the kitchen. Until they get food all over the touchscreen, that is. Fortunately, Belkin just released a trio of peripherals to try and take the mess out of kitchen-based iPad use.

There are three new products in the range, designed to allow for greater versatility from your Apple tablet in the kitchen. The Chef Stand + Stylus is the most functional, featuring a shiny metal stand with a rubberised base to give your iPad a firm place to stay, while a magnetised stylus lets you navigate through your recipes without having you touch the screen.

The Fridge Mount is fairly self explanatory, allowing you to securely mount your iPad to your fridge for shopping lists, family notes or just catching up on iView while you cook. It uses 3M command strips to attach to the fridge, so you’ll want to make sure you follow the instructions when you set this up.

The final kitchen iPad accessory is the Kitchen Cabinet Mount, which is designed for temporary use with simplicity in mind. It essentially hangs from a kitchen cupboard, using gravity and clever engineering to keep your tablet firmly locked in place. It also folds down when not in use for easy storage.
