“A diesel powered Ducati motorcycle?” we hear you ask. “The fuel economy must be amazing!” It would be, but that’s not the Diesel we’re referring to. Ducati has partnered with fashion house Diesel for this street beast.
Technically based on the Ducati 1100 EVO bike, the Monster Diesel is a design collaboration between Ducati engineers and fashion house Diesel, led by Diesel’s founder Renzo Rosso.
Described as having an “urban military chic”, the new bike combines a black frame with khaki body, with bright yellow brake callipers and shocks. There’s a level of customisation options, including the heat shield and exhaust sytems, to make it a truly personal biking experience.
And given it’s a partnership with a fashion house, there’s alos a complete range of Diesel clothing that ties in with the Ducati partnership.
Not sure of when it will launch in Australia yet, but the bike is expected to land in Europe in July for €13,490 ($16,750).
