The Ferrari range of headphones from Logic3 released earlier this year really set a benchmark for the combination of a quality brand and technology product. Ferrari and Logic3 have taken that to another level with the Australian launch of the Scuderia FS1 wireless speaker.
This is quite possibly the best looking stand-alone wireless speaker you will find on the market. At $649 it’s certainly not the cheapest though.
With a full black front garnished with a stylish small Ferrari logo, you can see the Ferrari design cues coming from the Ferrari cars. The top edge of the FS1 is a grey silver look tilted down as if for aerodynamics. The Apple dock connector allows you to dock your iPhone, iPod or iPad and both charge and play music at the same time.
If docking isn’t what you need you can switch the FS1 to Bluetooth mode and once paired. In Bluetooth mode you can play your music wirelessly from across the loungeroom to the speaker itself.
The sound is quite impressive with good volume and a solid level of bass.
At the rear of the unit you get the look of speed again with the race-team inspired look of the FS1 and two rear speakers. All of which contributes to the wide sound.
The FS1 incorporates something Logic3 call “Class HD” audio technology which delivers high power and efficiency along with an integrated Digital Signal Processor to control the crossover and equalisation.
Underneath the unit you’ll also find an Auxillary input for any non-Apple devices to be played through the speaker.
Great sound, fantastic design and the Ferrari badge all make the FS1 a dream for any fan of music and cars.
