For fans of motorsport there are a few key things you’d probably love to see – F1 in action, Le Mans and to attend the Goodwood Festival of Speed.  This year, Bentley is putting on its biggest show ever at Goodwood and part of that includes a look at the Continental GT3 Le Mans contender.

Ten years ago Bentley took a Le Mans 1-2 victory with the Speed 8, s0 with the heritage of the brand, and the expectations Bentley has created for itself since unveiling the Continental GT3 concept in September last year there is a lot riding on this race car.

The Speed 8 is a stunning race car.  It screams Le Mans.

Now take a look at the Bentley Continental GT3.

Taking to the hill-climb at Goodwood while the GT3 is on show will be two road-going members of the Continental family.  The fastest production Bentley ever made – the GT Speed coupe ticks over 6o mph from zero in just 4 seconds (0-100 km/h in 4.2).  That’s a 6.0 litre twin-turbo W12 punching out some serious grunt.

To celebrate that 2003 Le Mans victory, the actual race cars from 2003 will be at Goodwood and their run up the hill will be with the very same drivers from the race ten years ago – Guy Smith and Aussie David Brabham.

If you’re lucky enough to get to Goodwood – the entire range of Bentley vehicles will be on display – including the new Flying Spur.
