At CES in January this year, all the big TV companies were talking curves. Curved screens, screens that curve on demand – you name it, it had to have a curve in it. LG last week announced some new Curved screens for Australia and while the curve is good, it’s the quality that is the real stand-out.

At 65 inches or 77 inches, these are big screens, and while they might sound impressive just at that size – consider this. They are not only Ultra HD (4K), they are also OLED.

OLED is the super thin screen with a whole range of new pixel technology that creates a stunning on-screen picture. When you put OLED and Ultra HD in the same screen you really are getting the best possible quality.

At $10k and $23k they aren’t cheap, but if you’re in the market for the best you’ve got to expect to pay for it.
The 65 incher will be available in November, while LG hopes to have the 77 inch in stores by the end of the year.
If that price is too high, try the 55 inch curved OLED from LG – while it’s not 4K, it’s still something very special, and frankly the price is a steal at just $4k.
