There’s something extra awesome about the Tesla Model S in the United States that’s not available in Australia. A third row of seats. And with Tesla being so new, you’ll forgive the local law enforcement for having a concern about why kids might be piled into the “boot” of a car.
This Tesla owner had a dash cam and security camera recording the whole thing. Turns out someone saw them put a child into the “boot” of the car at the local shops. They called police, police looked up the registration and sat waiting at the home for the car to return.
No issue, just an education for police.
Sadly the third row is not available in Australia – it would make the car appealing to a whole stack more people if it did.
