Today at CES in Las Vegas, we experienced the new wide range of Monster products. We may have some hearing loss but certainly enjoyed it!
During the tour we had a look at the ROC Sport by Monster BackFloat portable bluetooth speaker. It is the length of a 600ml bottle and rugged. Monster have made this product shock and water resistant which actually enables it to float facing up for great tunes in the bath or pool.
Keep the phone away from the water and stream your tunes with controls on the speaker. If your phone rings while you’re in the pool, take the call from the speaker as it has a built-in microphone too.
If you’re inside or somewhere dry, you can connect the speaker via the 3.5mm jack also.
We had a listen to the BackFloat and were really impressed, good sound from such a little product, and yes, it is very waterproof.
In the US it will retail for $249 and we are confirming pricing in Australia.
