Tim Cook announced the new Wire-free earphones at the September launch of the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. These headphones were said to be revolutionary, yet when the time came to release them – they had to be delayed.
Apple needed the AirPods to be right. So they spent a bit longer and the time is now right.
AirPods are now available at Apple Stores and Online for $229.
