Today Huawei have announced that their latest phone to market, the Huawei Nova 3i is available for pre-order. The sequel to the Nova 3e will retail for more and will be packed with some big tech.

We’re no strangers to the Nova range here at EFTM, and having played with a few of the previous models, we were pleasantly excited to see what Huawei have done with this latest iteration.

The Nova 3i will be sporting;

  • A big 6.3” FullView display – rocking the top notch, reminiscent of the iPhone X.
  • 128GB of in-built storage.
  • A 3340mAh battery.
  • 4GB RAM.
  • Kirin 710 processor @2.2Ghz.
  • Dual rear cameras at 16MP and 2MP.
  • Dual front facing cameras at 24MP and 2MP.

It will ship in Midnight Black and Iris Purple. The Iris Purple has a blue-purple fade on the back, giving it a nice unique look.

Huawei are keeping the glass back we saw on the 3e as well as the dual-lens configurations, fingerprint sensor and facial recognition.

The Huawei Nova 3i will retail for $599, landing it squarely in the mid-range tier. Now when purchased online from JB Hi Fi, Harvey Norman or Mobileciti, the Nova 3i will come with a pair of Freebuds, Huawei’s brand of wireless bluetooth earphones valued at $199.

It’s also available for pre-order at Bing Lee and Officeworks.
