I tell you what, it pays to be a Kogan Mobile customer. Plenty of people will know the pain of being with a telco and having your existing plan look crappy and out of date when the new ones are released. Kogan Mobile has just radically upped their data allowance, and it applies to all customers – new AND existing.
Kogan Mobile is a prepaid telco, so in reality you might argue of course existing customers get the benefit, they recharge their data every 30 days.
But Kogan, among others, has long been incentivising people to pay in advance, 90 days, six months, or a year – pay in advance and the further out you pay, the lower the price you pay.
Today, Kogan announced their data limit in their largest plan has jumped to 32GB per 30 days, up from 23GB! Huge.
And those who signed up in advance, are getting that benefit too.

Effective immediately the new data allowances are :
- Kogan Mobile EXTRA LARGE (30, 90 and 365 day variants) now 32GB (up from 23GB) of mobile data per 30 days, in addition to unlimited standard national talk and text to use in Australia.
- Kogan Mobile LARGE (30, 90 and 365 day variants) now 17GB (up from 16GB) of mobile data per 30 days, in addition to unlimited standard national talk and text to use in Australia.
- For new customers there’s even more reason to sign up now, as Kogan Mobile is currently running a ‘two for one deal’ on the LARGE and EXTRA LARGE 365 day prepaid plans^. Customers who sign up with a friend or family member will be able to get Kogan Mobile for effectively half the price, plus the additional data mentioned above.
