‘The Frame’ by Samsung has been well documented and followed here at EFTM, and we can today announce the availability for the second generation of this artwork. This incredibly thin, camouflaged television is available in 43-inch, 55-inch and 65-inch.

Naturally Samsung have a field day promoting this beautiful piece of tech, stating that “The Frame boasts enhanced features, new customisation options, and hundreds of available works of art that will transform Australian living rooms and give people the ability to display art when the TV is not in use“.

It’s not even debatable how beautiful this television is. And even at a conceptual level, being both a television and piece of art at the same time is brilliant.

In regards to the range of art available, Samsung have said that “[their] Art Store houses an ever-growing and diverse library of artwork and photos from some of the most prominent museums, galleries, and artists around the world. These include The Albertina, a leading Austrian art museum, Magnum Photos, one of the world’s most prestigious and influential photography agencies, and Lumas, a major Berlin-founded gallery for photography and art editions.

The Frame delivers stunning 4K video and is equipped with HDR10+ tech. The 55-inch ($2,699) and 65-inch ($3,899) models will be available in October from Samsung.com.au, Harvey Norman and David Jones. The 43-inch ($1,799) model will come later in November.
