Aston Martin the car maker that is the choice of any credible spy is today celebrating the debut of its first all-electric car. The Rapide E was revealed at the Shanghai motor show overnight and it looks simply stunning.
The Rapide E is production ready and only 155 examples will be built in conjunction with Williams Advanced Engineering at St Athan n Wales. It has twin electric motors that produce up to 450kW and 950Nm.

Alongside the Rapide E sits The AM-RB 003 concept car that is a bit of a teaser of what Aston Martin say will be its third mid-engined hypercar. The AM-RB 003 takes many of its wares from the Valkyrie and will be developed in partnership with Red Bull Advanced Technologies. So it’s fair to say there will be a stack of F1 DNA crammed in.
Also on show is the Lagonda All-Terrain Concept vehicle which is set to really up the anti in the ultra-stylish and luxurious performance SUV space.

Lagonda is Aston Martin’s electric brand and is targeting China given its 2018 620 million euro investment in the region.
