Holden or even just car enthusiasts take note. An upcoming ‘Holden Heritage Auction’ held by Manheim Auctions is offering up some salivating examples of Australian motoring history. The online action via a ‘BidNow’ sale has come about because Holden is offloading some of its Heritage Vehicle Collection, mainly because of duplication.

There’s eight up for grabs each with a letter of authenticity from Holden:

1980 Commodore L Sedan – driven around Australia by motoring writers Evan Green and Matt Whelan

1990 Barina – holds 17 Guinness World Records for fuel economy

1995 VR Commodore Series II Rally Car – driven to victory by Ed Ordynski in the 1995 Mobil Round Australia Rally.

2001 Monaro CV8 – the number 1 production Monaro

2013 VE Commodore Sedan SSZ – the last VE Commodore ever built

2013 VF Commodore Calais V – first production vehicle built as start of VF production

2017 Commodore Motorsport – first Motorsport built #001 of 1200

2017 Commodore Director – first Director built #001 of 360

An extra sweetener includes 80 Holden personalised model plates also being up for sale.

It all starts Monday, November 18 at 12:00pm AEDT and will close on Friday, November 22 at 12:00pm AEDT.
