When the new iPad Pro was announced one of the biggest new “features” was in fact not yet available, it was an accessory – the new Magic Keyboard.
Until now, iPad keyboards haven’t been a patch on their laptop counterparts, and when you are positioning the iPad as a Laptop competitor this is critical.

The keys on the Magic Keyboard are the same as those on the new MacBook Air with proper movement in the mechanism. It’s a full size, and features a trackpad for mouse/pointer support.
Most importantly from a design perspective, the new Magic Keyboard allows the iPad Pro to sit elevated off the keyboard – we’ve not seen it in action, but look forward to putting it to the test.

You can order online now, for the iPad Pro 11 inch the Keyboard is $499, for the 12.9 inch iPad Pro it’s $589.
