CES is about to start next week and we have another company releasing new laptops. This time it is LG showing off their five new 2021 LG Gram laptops in an all new design.

The new laptops with all new designs arrive as three different size standard laptops and two different sized 2-in-1 laptops: LG Gram 17 (model 17Z90P), LG Gram 16 (model 16Z90P), LG Gram 14 (model 14Z90P), LG Gram 2-in-1 16 (model 16T90P) and LG Gram 2-in-1 14 (model 14T90P).

Not only do all the laptops offer the larger screen area of the 16:10 aspect ratio but have a redesigned keyboard and touchpad leading to faster, easier typing without affecting the size of the laptops.

The new displays are high quality displays covering 99 percent of the DCI-P3 colour space with the 16 and 17 inch versions offering 2560 x 1600 pixel resolutions. They are all surrounded by minimal bezels, maximising the display to body ratios.

Internally the LG Gram laptops all sport an 11th Gen Intel Core Processor, Iris Xe graphics and LPDDR4x memory. Storage options differ but all of the LG Gram models offer M.2 Dual SSD slots (NVMe).

Port-wise they all offer USB 4 Gen 3 ports with one being Thunderbolt 4 compatible and a USB 3.2 Gen2 port. All also offer fingerprint readers with US Military 810G compliance for even the clumsiest of users to feel safe carry it about and Wi-Fi 6.

Jang Ik-hwan Senior VP of LG Electronics IT said:

“Synonymous with outstanding portability and first-class performance, the LG gram brand continues to raise the bar for the ultra-slim laptop market. With sleeker, more refined designs and 16:10 aspect ratio displays while maintaining lightweight, our latest LG gram lineup gives consumers the ability to enjoy better productivity and more immersive viewing experiences wherever they go.”
