Fitbit has announced their latest kids fitness tracker is available from today with the launch of the Fitbit Ace 3.
The child-focused tracker is aimed at children aged six and over, with an aim to help them ‘get active and build healthy habits with the whole family’. The Fitbit Ace 3 is designed for kids, and includes an 8-day battery life and is of course water-resistant, although Fitbit says ‘Swimproof’.
Priced at $99.95, the tracker is available in two colours, Sport Red clasp or Cosmic Blue with an Astro Green clasp, with the possibility of a Minions themed band arriving later in the year.
Fitbit has focused on the guided experience for younger users, with parents also able to maintain control over their childs experience through Family Accounts, letting them set privacy controls and protections.
As well as tracking activity, including steps, active minutes and the Fitbit Ace 3 also has sleep tracking letting you also set bedtime reminders and silent alarms.
Children can personalise the watch face from over 20 available options, including a new bunny, cat, martian and spaceship animated clockfaces.
The tracker is available to pre-order now on the Fitbit Australia online store, with orders set to ship from March 15th.
