Dell has announced a new refresh to their mid-range Inspiron line of laptops overnight, introducing refreshed models ranging in size from 13-inches right up to Dell Inspiron 16 Plus with a 16-inch screen.

The new range has been redesigned from the ground up says Dell and includes the Inspiron 13, Inspiron 14, Inspiron 14 2-in-1, Inspiron 15 and Inspiron 16 Plus. Dell has announced they’ll be offering both 11th Gen Intel Core or AMD Ryzen 5000 U-Series Mobile Processors on the new range, with a range of graphics options also available.

Inspiron 16 Plus

While the rest of the range refreshes existing models, the Inspiron 16 Plus is a new mode; for Dell, bringing back the 16-inch form factor.

The Inspiron 16 Plus is aimed at creators who just need a bit more space. The laptop includes a large 16:10 aspect ratio 16-inch ‘ComfortView Plus display’ with the latest Intel Core H-series processors, and optional NVIDIA GTX or RTX discrete graphics.

Inspiron 13, 14 and 15

The Inspiron 13, 14 and 15 offer refreshes to their existing models, boosting performance with options for 11th Gen Intel Core i3 through to i7 processors across the range.

Machines can be configured with a range of Intel graphics, or with an Nvidia MX450 graphics card for a little more grunt.

Dell has included new adaptive thermals on board which can manage power consumption to keep your PC running at its best. There’s also ‘ExpressCharge’ included which offers fast charge to boost your battery up to 80% in 60 minutes.

Inspiron 14 2-in-1

Rounding out the announcements is the Inspiron 14 2-in-1, a versatile form-factor that lets you switch the laptop into tablet mode with ease.

Using a 14” Full HD touch display, the convertible can be configured with the latest 11th Gen Intel Core™ or AMD Ryzen 5000 U-Series Mobile Processors, with Dell announcing there will be a ‘variety of graphics option’.
