Realme is a brand that has always been synonymous with value. Last year they introduced the entry-level C-series to Australia to great success, thanks in large part to their partnership with Optus. Today that have introduced a new C-series smartphone that once again promises to offer amazing value for money and a great experience to go along with it.
The realme C21 is their latest C-series smartphone and comes packed with some great specs that people are looking for in a smartphone. The 5,000mAh battery promises to keep going and going no matter how much you stream your games, movies or music throughout the day. There is little doubt that a battery this size would last even the extreme user a day of power.
Add in a 6.5-inch tear drop full screen display and the viewing experience of the C21 is also far above what you would expect for a sub-$200 phone — in fact the screen to body ratio is a decent 89.5% making viewing videos and gaming fun for all.
The rear camera setup incorporates three cameras which includes a main 13MP camera, a 2MP monochrome camera and a 2MP macro camera. Of course it is not the ultra-premium camera setup but at less than $200 it will provide great AI photography for most users — especially with the included night mode, panoramic mode and timelapse photography.
Commenting on the launch of the realme C21, Andy Yang, Managing Director of realme Australia, says:
“We brought our much loved C series smartphones to the Aussie market in 2020 with the launch of the C3, C11 and C12, after identifying a consumer desire for smartphones that come packed with impressive features for a price that won’t break the bank.”
Add in a headphone jack, NFC, microSD slot and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and you have what should be a great device, all for an entry-level price.
The realme C21 is available from today exclusively via Optus for $199 in Cross Black and Cross Blue colours. You can get yours at all Optus resellers including Yes Optus, Optus.com.au, Woolworths, Coles, Big W, Kmart and Target.
