The recently announced Xiaomi Mi Band 6 is now officially available in Australia, with local distributor Panmi now selling the band through their online store.
The Mi Band 6 is a fitness focused band, with 30 fitness modes and 6 auto-detection modes which can sense when you start a walk or run, bike ride, go for a row or jump on the elliptical. It’s also water resistant up to 50m and includes swim tracking as well.
The new Mi Band includes a larger 1.56-inch AMOLED display this time, it’s touch enabled and comes with a full array of sensors including step, sleep, heart-rate and SpO₂ tracking. There’s also other features like camera and music control, menstrual cycle tracking and breathing exercises.
The band includes 50m water resistance so you can go swimming and also includes automatic stroke recognition.. There’s 30 fitness modes it can track in total, with 6 auto detection modes to start recording walking, outdoor or treadmill running, cycling, rowing and elliptical
The band comes with a 14 day battery life, with a magnetic charging pins that can top it up securely without it getting bumped off.
The Xiaomi Mi Band 6 is priced at RRP $79.95 in Australia, though if you check out the mi-store and PC Byte you can nab it now for just under $70 but only in black. The Mi Band 6 will however be available in orange, yellow, olive, ivory and blue if you want to add a bit of flair.
