Hisense has announced the hotly anticipated arrival of their latest ultra-short throw Laser cinema projector, with the massive 120-inch Laser Cinema (120L5FSET) TV now available in Australia.
The ultra-short-throw projector market is gaining momentum in Australia, and the Hisense 120L5FSET is well positioned to offer you a high-quality cinema experience in your own home. The projector outputs up to 2700 Lumens, and is paired with a 120-inch ambient light rejection screen (ALR) available as a complementary bonus with purchase so surrounding light or glare won’t affect picture quality.

Priced at $7,999 MSRP, the massive display offers ‘brilliant colours and contrasts for crystal clear images’, with ‘perfect 4K Ultra HD resolution with over eight million megapixels’ says Hisense. That seems high, but consider their 100-inch model released two years ago clocked in at $19,999 making this a decent price for the tech.
Kevin King Cabeliza, National Communications Manager, Hisense Australia, said:
“Our Laser Cinema offering provides Australians with a genuine home cinema, allowing them to experience the action like never before.
With the inclusion of a 120-inch screen, our Laser Cinema boasts exceptional resolution, astonishing depth, and razor-sharp detail, coupled with cinema-grade sound thanks to Dolby Atmos. With the rise of streaming services, the 120-inch Laser Cinema is perfectly placed for Australians looking to emulate a cinema sized viewing experience from the comfort of their home.”
As well as brilliant visuals, the 120L5FSET also includes cinema-grade sound courtesy of Dolby Atmos Immersive Audio thanks to dual 15W speakers.
For connectivity you’ll find 4x HDMI (2.0) inputs, VGA, USB 2.0 and S/P Dif ports as well as ethernet and Bluetooth/Wifi for wireless connections.

The projector is on-sale at JB Hi-Fi currently for a fair discount on the MSRP, so if you’re in the market for a cinema experience in your home, definitely check this one out.
