A new sweet spot in the price of Electric Scooters seems to be the sub $1,000 bracket with the Ducati Branded PRO-I EVO launching at The Good Guys and Retravision for $899.
The Ducati Urban e-Mobility range is popular in Europe, featuring multiple scooters and e-bikes, and the PRO-I EVO is the first to launch in Australia.
While at a glance this scooter does look like most others, there’s a solid touch of Ducati flare all over it, with coloured highlights, stylised shapes and of course the iconic Ducati logo and name.
8.5 inch pneumatic tyres with dual brakes (disc on the rear, electric front) it has all the features of similar models on the market, at a great price.
App control allows you to monitor battery charge levels as well as mapping and electronic lock.
Within the app you can save the scooter’s parked location, select between three speed limits, and enable or disable the cruise control function.
The 280Wh battery will give you a 20-30km range depending on speed settings, and it’s all powered by a 350W motor in the front wheel.

The price is right, brand will get attention, now all we need is more work on the legislation in States where it’s not yet legal to ride these scooters around – hello NSW Government?
