Hisense announces their 2022 TV range ahead of CES 2022

The world’s biggest Tech show is still a few weeks away but that hasn’t stopped Hisense from jumping straight out of the blocks with some early announcements around their new 2022 TV range for Australia.

At the big end of things, a new 120 inch TriChroma Laser Cinema is the “go big or go home” option for the ultimate viewing experience, while all the way down the range there are strong ULED, Mini-LED and UHD viewing options.

Every ULED model in the 2022 range will feature HDMI 2.1 compatibility and HDMI 2.1 inputs as standard meaning you can basically look for ULED and know it’s ready for gaming – still a big, and growing market.

That HDMI 2.1 compatibility also sits alongside things like Dolby Vision Atmos, and the Game Mode options on the Hisense Range, and a “Quick Frame Transport” feature which decreases lag with better frame-rates.

“As technology and entertainment have diversified, so to have the needs of the new age consumer. Each has unique and specific needs, which is why we are focused on delivering a range of feature rich models at an affordable price point. Whether you’re looking to watch the weekend footy, challenge your friends at the latest video game, or stream the latest blockbuster, there is a TV in our new range that can meet and surpass your expectations,” said Nick Peters, Head of Marketing, Hisense Australia.

In the Mini-LED range of Hisense TVs there’s also a new feature being implemented called Dolby Vision IQ – which uses a sensor to understand the brightness of the room around the TV to adapt the picture accordingly.

Importantly, the operating system on the TVs is also taking strong leaps forward.

The VIDAA U6 system has a range of new features, including a new smartphone setup option so you can just scan a QR code, open the VIDAA app and setup your TV from the comfort of your couch and your smartphone. While the system also offers a great level of personalisation and recommendations – not just to you, but your whole family, with Profiles for each member of the household so the recommendations you get are the ones suited most to you.

Disney+ will also feature on VIDAA U6 and many more new apps will follow as Hisense looks to integrate a simple app ecosystem for not just installing but also signing up to great streaming services.

Much more detail around the Hisense TV range will be coming early in the new year along with pricing and availability for Australia.
