The announcement of the Galaxy S22 family overnight has meant there’s a lot of focus on getting pre-orders in on the phones themselves. Once your phone pre-order is secured, it’s time to turn your focus to the fun bit: Accessories!
I love a good accessory for my phones, obviously starting with cases, but also screen protectors, mounts, earbuds, new fresh cables and more. So. What’s in store for the Galaxy S22?
Samsung
Samsung, of course, has a slew of official accessories available. From cases and screen protectors to the much vaunted S Pen. There’s no pricing for the Galaxy S22 accessories as yet, but they should be coming soon.
Screen Protector
Samsung’s screen protector is of course ‘cut for your phone’ to get you the best fit. The Samsung screen protector description says it will also work with the UltraSonic Fingerprint sensor as well as protecting the display from scratches, dust and scrapes.
Cases
Smart LED View Cover
First off the rank is the Samsung Smart LED View Cover, which lets you see call and text alerts on the display on the cover. Available in light grey or black, you’ll also find a pocket for a license or credit card inside.
Smart Clear View Cover
If you want a little more flexibility, the Smart Clear View cover offers more functionality by allowing you to answer calls, pause your music and more — without touching your screen. The case even includes antimicrobial protection as well. The case is coming in your choice of Black, White or Burgundy.
Silicone Cover with Strap
For those wanting a nice soft case with a strap, the Silicone Cover with Strap includes a soft silicone case for gripping, with a strap on the back to make sure it stays securely in your hand. The case comes in Navy or White with options to change out the strap to change up your looks.
Protective Standing Cover
For those of you, like me, with butter fingers, the Protective Standing Cover offers more protection for drops, as well as a free stop hinged stand which props your phone up at either 45 or 60 degrees. You can also detach the hinge to change things up. The case comes in either Navy or White.
Leather Cover
For a little more class on your phone, the genuine leather cover offers a supple, slim fitting case that protects your phone from all sides and looks great doing it. The case will come in Black, White and Burgundy options.
Silicone Cover
If you want something to protect your phone, but feel comfortable to grip, this close fitting silicone case is for you. The case comes in a wide range of colours including Black, Burgundy, Olive Green and Fresh Lavender.
Clear Cover
If you want a minimalist look, while still protecting your phone in a bouncy bumper material, the Clear Cover case offers you an option, while still letting you show off the design of the phone.
