Philips is expanding their projector range today with the launch of the Philips PicoPix MaxTV

And Philips GoPix 1 portable projectors. 

The Philips PicoPix MaxTV is an all-in-one portable standalone unit with built-in Android TV, while the GoPix 1 is a new line for Philips targeting smartphone users with a 75-inch display in their pocket.

Pico MaxTV

The Pico MaxTV Is an all-in-one entertainment centre, expanding on the PicoPix line of projectors which come with the motto “Streaming everywhere, gaming anywhere”. 

The DLP projector can project a 120-inch, true 1080p resolution image for up to four hours on the built-in battery. There’s AI driven Auto Focus, as well as Auto Keystone correction and light sensor for adaptive brightness to make sure your image is straight, clear and bright, no matter where you are. 

There’s 2×12 watt built-in 2.1 speakers with a dedicated DSP for audio, or you can turn the projector off and use the PicoPix MaxTV as a bluetooth speaker for up to 10 hours. 

Powered by Android TV you’ll have full access to all your favourite streaming apps including Netflix, Amazon Prime and Disney+ with full Chromecast support and of course the Google Assistant.

The projector includes HDMI and USB-C for charging, as well as support for Bluetooth 5.0 to connect to external speakers or use the 3.5mm aux out and SPDIF. 

GoPix 1

For those wanting something smaller, the GoPix 1 is a new line for Philips targeting smartphone users, offering the thinnest and brightest compact projector on themarket.

The GoPix 1 received the 2022 iFDesign Award and Red Dot Award for design and looks great with a CNC machined metal body in dark grey which maximises cooling and measures just 18mm, making it perfect for portability.. 

The compact projector can display up to 75-inch in size at True 480p resolution and includes a 3W speaker for an all-in-one solution. 

The projector includes a battery for up to 2 hours of use and can be recharged easily through a USB-C connector. As well as USB-C, there’s a HDMI connector, allowing the projector to connect to laptops, tablets, or smartphones.

For mounting, the GoPix 1includes a tripod mount on the base for easy positioning and the built-in auto-keystoning means you can always get a straight image on a wall, ceiling or screen.
