Samsung has announced their latest Galaxy mobile, with the enterprise friendly XCover6 Pro now official and heading down under at the end of July.
The Samsung Galaxy XCover6 Pro is an enterprise ready mobile device, which is ruggedised and ready for life on the road with military grade (MIL-STD-810H) design with Gorilla Glass Victus and IP68 certification for dust and water resistance.
The phone will launch with Android 12, and Samsung One UI over the top, which also includes their security focused end-to-end KNOXsecurity. Samsung is also promising to keep the phone up to date and secure with up to five years of security updates and four additional One UI and OS level upgrades.

The phone includes a large 6.6-inch FHD+ resolution TFT LCD display which has a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling, and an octa-core processor with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage which can be expanded with microSD cards.
You also get Samsung’s excellent camera on the XCover6 Pro, with a dual camera array on the rear featuring a 50MP main sensor and 8MP ultra-wide sensor and a 8MP front-facing camera.
Samsung is also looking to keep the phone in use as long as possible, with a removable 4,050mAh battery that allows users to swap it out as needed. The phone also includes POGO pins for easy docking and charging when not in use.
There’s a number of intereThere’s a number of interesting features including a programmable hot key, barcode scanner through KNOX Capture, and a walkie-talkie option using push-to-talk, which can utilise the loud speaker in the phone.
The phone will be available in multiple markets across Europe, Asia and the Middle East from July. Samsung Australia has announced it will be available in Black, and will be priced at $899 – a great option if you’re keen on the security and also that removable battery.
