When you love your racing enough to get a steering wheel and pedal combo, you know you’re keen and you also know there’s a wide variety out there. Logitech has long been one of the go to entry level brands, but today they step it up a gear with a new PRO Racing Wheel and pedals that are Direct Drive for a far better simulation experience.

For around $400 you can get a set of Logitech Wheel and Pedals for your racing gaming, so for context this new PRO Racing gear will set you back $2,099 for the set. $1,499 for the wheel and $599 for the pedals. They ain’t cheap.

But that’s because Direct Drive engine technology is far more expensive, but it offers a much more realistic and immersive racing experience which is what most racers aim for after a short while driving.

For a huge dose of credibility, Formula One Driver and a man who loves his SIM racing, Lando Norris says “Logitech’s PRO Racing Wheel makes the sim racing experience incredibly realistic. I’m able to feel the conditions of the track and how the car changes during the race, which is game-changing. When using this wheel at home, I feel like I’m right there on track,”

Capable of 11Nm of force at low latency, the new wheel offers a higher-frequency response and therefor better feedback and overall driving response.

This isn’t for your casual gamer, this is for those jumping right into the details of Assetto Corsa or other high-end racing games, plus a new level of realism in F1 2022.

In addition to the drive mechanics, the wheel now has strategically placed buttons and dials within thumb reach, as well as magnetic gear shift paddles with a tactile mechanical feel.

And to top it all off, a quick release mount for the wheel so you can remove the wheel easily.

The Pedals too have advanced technology like pressure detection and load cell braking for a customisable driving feel.

There are two versions, one for Playstation and PC, the other for Xbox and PC.

You can head down to the Gamesmen who have a whole display setup so you can give it a crack, and of course they will sell in-store or shop online.
