Android Auto is a fantastic option for using your phone in the car without touching it, but plugging in cables can be a frustrating experience. Motorola has just announced that their MA1 wireless car adaptor for Android Auto is finally available in Australia to help rid you of that frustration letting you connect wirelessly.

Announced back at CES in January, the Motorola MA1 does all the hard work of connecting your phone to your car’s existing Android Auto-capable infotainment system without the hassle of plugging in a cable.

Motorola strives to simplify our customers’ lives through innovative technology that seamlessly integrates into everyday life”, adds Dave Carroll, Executive Director Strategic Brand Partnerships at Motorola. “The Motorola MA1 eliminates the need to plug your phone into your car’s infotainment system every time you get in your car, allowing for easy access to your favourite navigation apps.”

The adapter supports Android 11 and above and uses a combination of 5GHz wifi and Bluetooth to connect your phone to the car wirelessly. It’s simple to use, simply plug, pair and the MA1 will automatically connect to your car when you get in and you’re ready to go.

The dongle is priced at $159 AUD and is available through Amazon, as well as select Telstra stores, Telstra online and Telstra Plus Rewards.
