Sony announces the new WF-C700N noise cancelling earbuds

Sony had today announced their new noise cancelling earbuds, the WF-C700N, designed to produce immersive sound quality with noise cancellation without any compromise on comfort.

The Sony WF-C700N are designed using extensive ear shape data by them since they first introduced the world’s first in-ear headphones in 1982. The result is a shape that matches the ear with an ergonomic design for a stable, comfortable fit to allow you to listen longer.

The WF-C700N use active noise cancellation which can be changed to varying levels using their app to allow you to remain aware of your surroundings if you wish for that level of safety. The app can also use your location to alter the settings based on what you normally do at that location — such as changing to full ANC while at the gym.

Using a 5mm driver the Sony WF-C700N deliver a powerful sound with punchy bass and clear vocals for whatever style of music you listen to — you can alter the EQ settings to your liking within the Sony app.

With an IPX4 water resistance rating, the earbuds offer multipoint connection and up to 15 hours of playback. The included charging case carries a further charge as well to keep you topped up for long periods of time.

The WF-C700N in Black, White, Lavender and Sage Green will be available in Australia from April 2023 for SRP: 9.95AU.

Alongside the new WF-C700N Sony has also announced that the popular high-end WH-1000XM5 are now available in a Midnight Blue colour. The WH-1000XM5 in Midnight Blue will be available in limited quantities in Australia from April 2023 for SRP: 9.95AU.
