Is there even another company making drones these days? DJI are the class leader in drones, having been there from the start and their latest is a cracking option for those looking for great flight time, amazing imagery at a reasonable price.
The DJI Air 3 features pretty much all the great drone tech an amateur or semi-pro photographer or videographer might want, and the dual-camera just tops it off.
Both cameras feature a 48MP capture, with 4K 60fps HDR video recording. One is a standard wide, the other a 3x medium telephoto camera.
DJI’s Ferdinand Wolf says “The DJI Air 3 is the first drone of our Air Series which offers professional features like dual primary cameras and omnidirectional obstacle sensing and at the same time retaining its lightweight capabilities with a weight of just 720g for more freedom and flexibility,”

If you were taking an adventure holiday like a lap of the map, or island exploring a drone is an absolute must-have and this would be a strong contender.
One option for the use of the dual cameras is to use the wide angle to navigate and line up the drone, while using the 3x for your capture.
For the first time in the Air series from DJI, the Air 3 also supports vertical shooting allowing for instant social sharing.
The staggering thing here is the flight time. 48% longer than it’s predecessor, you’ll be up there for up to 46 minutes, and if you come down with say 25/30% battery remaining, you can use the charging hub to transfer that power to another battery, so you could combine multiple low charges into one decent extra flight battery – genius.
In addition to all that, there’s Object avoidance, Quickshots, FocusTrack tracking, slow motion, night mode, master shots, quick transfer and waypoint flying.
You won’t be left wanting.
