As if your sports rights subscriptions were not split enough, football (soccer) fans have another one to add – Apple TV’s MLS Season Pass – with the addition of the legendary Lionel Messi to Major League Soccer.
Right as we’re all thinking “how do we watch the FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia?” (Hint: Optus Sport has you covered), and with Fetch now the home of BeIn sports while Stan has a bunch of the biggest leagues – the subscription you probably didn’t think you needed until now was Apple TV MLS Season Pass.
MLS Season Pass is available as an outright subscription, not requiring first that you have Apple TV+, but if you do have Apple TV+ it’s a touch cheaper to get the season pass.
Because the season has already commenced, you can sign up now for a Apple TV Mid-Season Pass to catch Messi’s first game next week for $69 for the season. Apple TV+ subscribers will pay $59.
For perspective, a whole season is normally $149, or $22.99 per month, and that also allows your other family members to watch via Family Sharing.
Inter Miami – who’d have thought those would be words you’d hear here in Australia, but it’s real folks, and the club is already growing massively on socials as one of the biggest teams in USA sport – all thanks to one Man. Perhaps taking Miami to the global supporter base in the same way a club like Manchester United and Liverpool have supporters around the world.
