Fans of smaller phones can relax, with ASUS announcing their compact Zenfone 10 is now available in Australia.
Over the past few years, the Zenfone line has become synonymous with a powerful yet compact device and the Zenfone 10 continues this with top of the line specs in a compact body.
The phone includes a 5.9” display with a 120Hz refresh rate that can amp up to 144Hz when you’re gaming.
The phone is compact, standing at 146.5mm tall and weighs in at just 172 grams, just a shade heavier than last year’s model and comes with Gorilla Glass Victus on the display and a polycarbonate plastic back panel with a textured feel.
Internally, there’s a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset running the show and you’ll have options for either 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage, or 16GB of RAM with 512GB of storage, the Zenfone 10 packs a powerful punch.
The phone includes a 4,300mAh battery and 30W Hypercharge and also now comes with 15W wireless charging support, a major request from fans of the Zenfone line over the past couple of years.
There’s been improvements to the photography on this years Zenfone line, with a 50MP Main sensor on the rear paired with a 13 MP Ultra-wide sensor and a 32MP selfie camera on the front. ASUS says that the entire camera package is now mounted on a 6-Axis Hybrid Gimbal Stabiliser which has been updated to version 2.0 for the Zenfone 10, offering more stable shots.
The premium 16GB/512GB model, will be available in Midnight Black only, while the 8GB/256GB configuration will be multiple colour options including Midnight Black, Starry Blue, Aurora Green, Eclipse Red and Comet White.
To get your hands on the ASUS Zenfone 10, you can head to the ASUS e-store or JB Hi-Fi. The ASUS Zenfone 10 with 16GB RAM / 512GB storage is priced at $1,499 AUD, while the Zenfone 10 with 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage will be priced at $1,299 AUD.
